Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

The short version: we collect what we need to run QUOTE21, we use trusted providers to host it and take payment, we do not sell your personal information, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete it at any time.

1. Who is responsible

Apricity Capital, registration number 2013/120876/07 (“we”, “us”), is the responsible party for the personal information of people who use QUOTE21 (quote21.com and app.quote21.com), under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). For the customer and supplier details that you load into your own QUOTE21 account, you are the responsible party and we act as your operator, processing that information on your instructions to run the Service. Our Information Officer can be reached at hello@quote21.com.

2. What we collect

3. Why we use it

To create and run your account; provide the Service and its features; take and manage payment; send service emails (such as sign-in confirmation and billing notices); give support; keep the Service secure and prevent abuse; understand and improve the Service; and meet legal obligations. We rely on your consent, the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests, and legal obligations, as POPIA allows. We do not use your content to advertise to you and we do not sell personal information.

4. Who we share it with

We use these service providers, who process information only to provide their service to us:

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect our rights, or to a successor if our business is sold or restructured. We do not sell or rent personal information.

5. Transfers outside South Africa

Our providers store and process information in other countries, which may have different data-protection laws. We choose providers that apply appropriate safeguards, and by using the Service you agree to these transfers.

6. Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and separating each company’s data. No system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, and as long as the law requires (for example for tax and accounting records). You can ask us to delete your account and content earlier. You are responsible for keeping your own backups.

7. Cookies and local storage

The Service uses essential storage in your browser (for example to keep you signed in and remember settings). Optional analytics and advertising-measurement cookies (Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel) are off until you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” on quote21.com.

8. Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to: confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy; correct or delete it; and object to or restrict our processing. You may withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing already done). Email hello@quote21.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).

9. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information about children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always at quote21.com/privacy, and continued use of the Service after a change means you accept it.

11. Contact
